FRIDAY NIGHT: 2023

WeHo Pride Presents
Friday Night
at OUTLOUD Music Festival
(2025)

Now in its third year, WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD Music Festival continued to refine and polish its brand, becoming a well-known and cherished event open to everyone.

(2025)

Now in its second year, The City of West Hollywood wanted to soften the language but keep the brand recognition of the now yearly lip-sync battle, changing the name from Lip-Sync Assassin Battle to Lip-Sync Battle Royale. In the spirit of this change, Friday Night upped the spectacle, raising the stakes from two to three performers, a celebrity host, and even a surprise guest judge appearance by Paris Hilton, declaring the winner to be the friends we made along the way.

(2024)

The second annual WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD Music Festival utilized the newly established WeHo Pride Universe Brand Guidelines updates, giving this event its own aesthetic. Headlined by Kesha, in her first live performance as an independent artist, and WeHo’s first Lip Sync Assassin Battle, Friday Night garnered national press and became a beloved Pride institution.

(2024)

Utilizing OUTLOUD’s talent for producing one-of-a-kind performances to boost buzz and stretch marketing budgets, WeHo Pride’s second Friday Night event created the Lip-Sync Assassin Battle based loosely on RuPaul’s Drag Race’s elimination format. Friday Night 2024 saw a semi-choreographed performance battle starring Emmy-nominated RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 contestant Morphine Love Dion and season six’s Laganja Estranja.
