Created by queer people, for queer people, OUTLOUD was founded to amplify and elevate LGBTQIA+ voices. From rising stars to famous icons, OUTLOUD is all about talent and showing love. As a brand, it has captured the attention of tens of thousands celebrating the full spectrum of LGBTQIA+ talent.

OUTLOUD Music Festival is the brand’s flagship music festival, now in its fourth year in West Hollywood Park with star-studded, high-energy line-ups celebrating and advocating for queer voices in music, kicking off Pride Season.

2024: OUTLOUD Music Festival

In 2024 OUTLOUD drew inspiration from the unique aspect of seeing one’s favorite artist in a intimate setting. Because OUTLOUD is held in the middle of a large city, there is limited space, making the experience feel more personal and special. It is that feeling when the world fades away, the sound envelops your body, and your experience is uniquely yours that we wanted to highlight in our marketing.

2023: OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride

2023 PRE-LINEUP PHASE:

The 2023 Pre-Launch Phase of OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride needed to inspire excitement, stir nostalgia, and introduce the public to all new branding.

Luckily, we had the foresight to art direct the 2022 photographers in the new brand direction: younger, fresher, and full of electric queer energy. We took those photos and developed a process to give the final images a haziness that evoked a feeling of community and nostalgia over a specific memory.

In order to drive engagement on social we announced the dates, revealed the new brand, and began posting previously unreleased photos and videos from the previous year. Finally, we asked, “Who do you wanna see rock WeHo this year?” Although we only had slightly over 6,000 followers at the time, the post garnered over 1,000 comments, was shared over 600 times, and collected over 5,700 impressions without boosting or ad money.

2023 LINEUP LAUNCH + ARTIST CARDS:
With an exclusive release from Rolling Stone followed by every artist posting the lineup to their socials, and a cohesive campaign explaining ticketing tiers and encouraging our audience to buy early, we made a lot of noise.
